This book started off great from page one. The heroine is a spoiled rich girl. The hero is a bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks. They get together in a bar and after a few drinks retire to a hotel room. It's comical reading how she's crawling around in the dark trying to find her clothes without waking him up. She is mortified about what's just happened.Of course she ends up pregnant. She decides to go see the hero, Reb, and tell him about the baby. She needs to know his medical history. She doesn't want him involved with the baby. Everything falls down in her world. Her trust fund money falls through and she's about to lose her condo. Shivers... Along comes Reb with a solution, marry him and he'll take care of her bills and the baby care and such. She agrees hoping to embarrass her stepmom into giving her her trust fund, never intending to go through with it. He only wants to do it so he will have some leverage in custody and visits of his child.
I liked so many things about these two, Amanda Jayne and Reb. They both had preconceived notions about the other. They both are attracted to the other and the sparks are always flying. This book is believable. No one is forcing anyone to do anything. Once they get married, they both decide to try to make things work in their marriage.
Let me tell you, this guy is soo charming. He oozes sex appeal. The way he talks to her is the way every woman dreams of. He says the most romantic things. The love scenes sizzle off the page without being too graphic. They leave some things to the readers imagination.
I have never read this author before but be assured I'm going to be looking for more of her work. She has a way of telling the story that had me so intrigued. All through the book you got Reb's perspective as well as Amanda Jaynes. Do yourself a favor and read this book. It's excellent. Good job, Allison Kelly.

This is my Third Alison Kelly read and I've enjoyed them all. This one was not as humorous as Irresistible Attraction but it still had its funny moments. The Baby Deal was a sweet romance that started as a one night stand, resulted in an unplanned pregnancy and an unexpected marriage, and culminated in a great love story.
